The Lesher Foundation proudly announces an upcoming event featuring the esteemed former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch. This distinguished event is set to take place on March 6, 2024, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, California. Ambassador Yovanovitch is celebrated not only for her impactful diplomatic career but also as a New York Times bestselling author, following the release of her memoir, "Lessons from the Edge."

Ambassador Yovanovitch's illustrious career in the Foreign Service spanned significant posts across the globe, including Ukraine, the Kyrgyz Republic, Armenia, Russia, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Somalia. This class presents a unique opportunity to engage in a moving meditation that flows through traditional yoga poses. It's an inclusive session aimed at enhancing your strength, flexibility, and balance, while also focusing on reducing stress levels.

Who Can Join?

Our class is open to everyone, regardless of your yoga proficiency. Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or you're an experienced practitioner, you'll find the space welcoming and accommodating.

• Beginners will be provided with modifications to help ease into the practice comfortably.

• Advanced Yogis can challenge themselves with more demanding poses, pushing their limits and exploring their capabilities.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable attire that allows for unrestricted movement.

• A yoga mat or a beach towel for your practice.
