Walnut Creek Memorial Day Commemoration

Join the City of Walnut Creek for its annual Memorial Day ceremony at Civic Park on Monday, May 27, from 11:00 a.m. to noon. This cherished event honors those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Residents are encouraged to share stories of loved ones who served and were lost during wartime. These narratives will be featured during the ceremony, with Mayor Loella Haskew and other elected officials reading selected stories. Submissions can be emailed to [email protected]. The event will also include a performance by the Walnut Creek Concert Band and will conclude with a gathering at the Veterans Memorial.

Top-Seeded Northgate to Host San Luis Obispo in Men's Volleyball Playoff Clash

Northgate High School, the top seed in the CIF State playoffs for men's volleyball, is set to host San Luis Obispo High School in the first match on May 14th at 6 PM. As the playoffs kick off, Northgate aims to leverage its home-court advantage to advance towards the state championship in men's volleyball.

Northgate High School Set to Host American Canyon in NCS Softball Showdown This Tuesday

This week marks the exciting kickoff of the North Coast Section (NCS) Playoffs, with Northgate High School gearing up to host an action-packed softball game against American Canyon. The event is scheduled to take place at Bronco Country this Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Fans are encouraged to come out in full force and cheer loudly to support their team as they compete in the 2024 Championships.

Northgate’s Spring Concert: A Showcase of Young Musical Talent

The Northgate High School Instrumental Music Boosters are hosting their annual spring concert on May 13, 2024, at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, California. The concert, lasting from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, will feature performances from the Concert Band, Symphonic Winds, and Orchestra. This event is a showcase of the high-caliber music education and talent at Northgate High School, promising an evening of outstanding musical performances. Buy Tickets.
